Dr.K.Kathiravan graduated from the Thanjavur medical college winning gold medals in pharmacology, surgery and medicine during his MBBS career. He did his post-Graduation in MS (General Surgery) from Thanjavur medical college once again claiming the gold medal in the final examination. He went on to his superspeciality M.Ch. (Surgical Gastro Enterology)from the prestigious Madras Medical College.
A member of the Association of surgeons of India and the Indian Association of surgical Gastro Enterology he has participated in many conferences and workshops at the state, national and international levels and presented papers therein.
As one of the pioneers in surgical Gastro Enterology in Trichy he has wide practical experience in endoscopic, laparoscopic and all types of major gastro intestinal surgeries. His field of special interest is in laparoscopy, hepato biliary and pancreatic surgeries. |
