Dr. J. Balamurugan Consultant General Surgeon of this hospital has completed his undergraudation from Thanjavur Medical College in 1998 and finished his Post Graduation in General Surgery from Prestigious Stanley Medical College, Chennai in 2002.
He has served as a consultant surgeon in Dr. Jeyassekaran, multi speciality hospital in Nager Koil, where he acquired skills in laparoscopy surgery and advanced surgical technique. He also underwent a special training course for laparoscopic surgeries in Coimbatore.
Then he served as an Asst. Prof. of Surgery in Raja Muthiah Medical College Hospital, Annamalai University for a period of 4 years. In Annamalai University he gained good reputation for his teaching skills and also published a hand book for Clinical Surgery titled "Rapid Reviews of Clinical Surgery" |
